Study index: 96-2 Vendor Picker Modality NM Examination Total body bone scan History 65 year old man recently diagnosed with prostate carcinoma Procedure Following the administration of Tc-99m MDP total body bone scan images were acquired. Findings There is homogenous uptake of radiopharmaceutical throughout the osseous skeleton. Mild increased uptake is present within the right acromioclavicular joint and the left L5/S1 facet joint consistent with degenerative disease. There is symmetrical excretion of contrast from the kidneys. No evidence of prostate metastasis. |
