The Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) provides radiology-specific training and education programs to support RSNA members and their team in facilitating practice assessment and quality improvement (QI). There are also several public and private national organizations and institutions that provide professionals with educational opportunities focused on general aspect of QI skills and quality leadership.

In 2008, RadioGraphics introduced a "Quality Initiatives" section. The articles that appear in this section help guide radiologists and radiology professionals in developing and implementing continuous QI in their practices.
