Active or Associate

Active or Associate Membership in the Society is open to radiologists, physicists, computer scientists and engineers, and other allied scientists who meet certain educational and residency requirements and who practice radiology. Membership is by application, review and approval by the Membership and Credentials Board, and vote by the membership.

Benefits of membership include annual subscriptions to the journals Radiology and RadioGraphics and free admission, with advance registration, to the RSNA annual meeting. Current annual dues are $370.00. Membership applications are available from RSNA, 820 Jorie Blvd, Oak Brook, IL 60523-1860. Member-in-Training

Member-in-Training Membership in the Society is offered to residents in approved radiology residency training programs, residents in dental and veterinary radiology, and graduate students in medical physics. Applications for training membership must be reviewed and approved by each applicant's program director. Members may remain at this level of membership until their training is complete, up to a maximum of 5 years. At the conclusion of the residency or graduate program, training members are surveyed to determine their eligibility to move into Active or Associate membership.

Benefits for Member-in-Training include free admission, with advance registration, to the RSNA annual meeting, free access to online journals and all programs on InteractED. They also have the opportunity to purchase a print subscription to the journals Radiology and RadioGraphics at the rate of $80.00 ($190 for print and online for those outside North America). There are no annual dues for residents or fellows.

Corresponding

Corresponding Membership in the Society is open to radiologists and allied scientists who reside or practice in a country outside of North America, but who otherwise meet the qualifications for Active or Associate membership. Membership is by application, endorsement by the Membership Chairman, review and approval by the Membership and Credentials Board, and vote by the membership. Benefits of Corresponding membership are the same as those for Active and Associate membership. Current annual dues are $460.00 print and online journals or $370.00 online journals. No application fee is required.

Medical Student

Medical Student Membership is offered to students residing in North America and enrolled in a North American medical school approved by the Liaison Committee for Medical Education or its equivalent as determined by the Membership and Credentials Board. Members may remain at this level of membership until they have attained the degree of Doctor of Medicine.

Benefits of Medical Student Membership include the opportunity to purchase a subscription to the journals Radiology and RadioGraphics at the rate of $80.00. Members currently have unrestricted access to all education programs online. Medical Student Membership includes free admission, with advance registration, to the RSNA annual meeting. There are no annual dues for medical students.

Radiologist Assistant

Radiologist Assistant Membership in the Society is offered to Radiologist Assistants who have successfully completed an advanced academic (baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate) program encompassing a nationally recognized curriculum and a radiologist-directed clinical preceptorship; and be certified as Radiologist Assistant by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ("ARRT") or by a body recognized by the Board of Directors as being of equivalent rank.

Benefits of membership for Radiologist Assistants include annual subscriptions to the journals Radiology and RadioGraphics and free admission with advance registration, to the RSNA annual meeting. Current 2007 annual dues are $185.00. Membership applications are available from RSNA, 820 Jorie Blvd, Oak Brook, IL 60523-1860. Radiologist Assistant-in-Training

Radiologist Assistant-in-Training membership in the Society is offered to applicants who are currently enrolled in and pursuing an advanced academic program encompassing a curriculum that is nationally recognized as preparation for becoming certified as a Radiologist Assistant by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ("ARRT") or by a body recognized by the Board of Directors as being of equivalent rank.

Benefits for Radiologist Assistant-in-Training include free admission, with advance registration, to the RSNA annual meeting, free access to online journals and all programs on InteractED. They also have the opportunity to purchase a print subscription to the journals Radiology and RadioGraphics at the rate of $80.00. There are no annual dues for Radiologist Assistant-in-Training.
