Committee on International Relations and Education (CIRE)

Programs and Fellowships
 

In 1986, the RSNA Board of Directors established the Committee on International Relations and Education (CIRE) to advise the RSNA on how the Society might provide international assistance to enhance radiologic education in countries requesting and requiring assistance. Over the years, the committee, together with the RSNA Research and Education Foundation and the Publications Council, has developed several programs, including the International Visiting Professor Program, the International Visiting Scholar Program, the Derek Harwood-Nash International Fellowship, the Editorial Fellowship, Education Center Materials Donation and Gratis Subscription Programs, and in 2000, the International Young Academics Seminar, which was recently renamed Introduction to Research for Young Academics.
