    RSNA 2016 Bustling with R&E Connections, Receptions, Events and Honors
     
    From November 27 to December 2, 2016, Chicago’s McCormick Place was bustling with energy for RSNA 2016. Past and current R&E grant recipients shared their knowledge in more than 300 sessions, Foundation donors and leaders were recognized and honored, and more than 750 participants took part in the 5k Fun Run to raise over $30,000 for radiology research and education!

    RSNA Mentor Inspires Lifelong Foundation Commitment 
     
    Thanks to the guidance and inspirational leadership of past RSNA President and R&E Foundation founding member C. Douglas Maynard, MD, the professional career of Thomas L. Pope, MD, has been one of ongoing commitment to RSNA and the R&E Foundation. From serving on several committees to supporting the Foundation’s Inspire-Innovate-Invest Campaign as a Silver Centennial Pathfinder, Dr. Pope has dedicated his life to advancing patient care through supporting excellence in radiology research and practice.

    R&E Grant Recipient Grows Funding
     
    Jacob L. Jaremko, MD, PhD, has received $450,000 CAD in subsequent funding stemming from his 2014 project “3D Ultrasound of Infant Hips: Toward an Understanding of Normal Development and Improved Detection of Hip Dysplasia.” Read about his project and how Dr. Jaremko and his team continue to explore additional collaborations and opportunities worldwide.
