This intensive 6½-day workshop is intended for junior faculty members in radiology, radiation
oncology, and nuclear medicine academic departments engaged in clinical research. Mid-career faculty may also be considered. Investigators with an MD or PhD degree are eligible to apply. Applicants should be in, or
plan to enter, a career track that will permit them to be a Principal Investigator on a clinical trial.
Participants will learn how to develop protocols for the clinical evaluation of imaging modalities. Familiarity with basic concepts and techniques of statistics and study
design is needed for all applicants. Over the course of the workshop, each workshop trainee will be expected to develop a protocol for a
clinical study, ready to include in an application for external funding.
